it was excellent meeting up with everyone. i think they've all grown and blossomed into wonderful individuals and what WJ said is absolutely true. All it takes is a positive attitude. After all, it's only when you're down in the dumps that you realise things can take on a more positive light. Only when you've experienced having nothing and having to start from scratch before you know that things can only get better rather than worse.

i'm excited for many of my friends who've had plenty of interesting experiences and are themselves looking forward to experiences abroad or new opportunities be it in work, studies or new commitments :)

Amidst all of this, i have things to be immensely grateful for... and maybe it hasn't been such a bad year after all.

Again, i attribute patience. :) and hopefully, with a tad of patience, things do get that bit better.
