Bar Stop is a little known gem situated at Devonshire Road.
It sure was a welcome 'travellers stop' stepping out from the rain into the comforts of the warm, earthy atmosphere on Saturday night.
Managed by Imaginings Pte Ltd, Bar Stop is one of the newer establishments alongside well-known pubs such as Wala Wala and Balaclava.
From the delectable finger food such as pork collar, wasabi prawn, grilled chicken pizza to the wide array of drinks including beer cocktails, it was definitely a place worth visiting. :)The loft-like lounge upstairs is cosy and offers added privacy away from the main dining area below. I imagine this has to be the perfect haven after a day at work, allowing people the chance to simply forget all the stress and troubles that is part and parcel of work life.
Often, i think about the places i haven't visited when i was overseas, neglecting to realise something that comes a little close to that might be available just round the corner.
We stayed on right through the evening, enjoying several sets that the band, Accoustic Trip performed.
Some of the songs, though unfamiliar, were still music to the ears and I really wish i could play like they can!haha maybe there's real truth in my friends' words.. girls would go for any guy with such musical talent!
Gazing out at the residential units across the road, I can't help but wonder what it must be like to live there.. even if it's just a week...-bliss-
Bar Stop is definitely a place i will visit again and i'll be back to try the mains this time!
