I have just had another super Saturday, jam-packed with activity and I’m feeling incredibly tired but somehow feel the need to pen down my thoughts and feelings

All of a sudden, these lyrics come to mind.

“ I hope you never lose your sense of wonder. You get your fill to eat but always keep that hunger… May you never take one single breath for granted… God forbid love ever leave you empty handed…”

The lyrics just came to mind and seemed so apt here.

I feel- energized, invigorating and completely engaged in my work.

While work can feel overwhelming and downright impossible at times… I tend to recall what Mrs Louie said about “Impossible” simply spelling “I M POSSIBLE” and really, I’m intrigued rather than put off with the innumerable personalities I’m dealing with on a day to day basis. ;p .. and I like them. I like my designers; for all their idiosyncrasies, for their lapses in accuracy, for their attitudes, for their feelings, emotion, irritation, frustration. Most of all for their plain honesty. I appreciate and need that. It’s the one thing I ask for. And really, all I need is to understand.

One of the most pertinent things I’m learning each day is pure COMMUNICATION.

Pure, unadulterated, uninterrupted communication between one person and another. It is so important, so crucial and the real key to making or breaking a project.

Observe, sit in, learn and execute. Liaise, micro-manage if you have to, but get it done.
