"So no one told you life was gonna be this way
Your job's a joke, you're broke, your love life's D.O.A"
haha sure feels like it sums up my life at the moment! Okay, truthfully, it isn't half as bad. For starters, my job's no joke, though i am quite broke!
heh.
It's been an interesting life these past weeks. Things are picking up and i'm feeling far more alive in this job than i've been in any other, that's for sure!
Updates:
1) I LOVE Alphabet Weekends by Elizabeth Noble... makes me believe in an everyday sort of love that can exist, can be passionate and can be staring at you right in the face all along, just that you deny it's existence.
2) IE Forum was very insightful and a huge learning experience for me. Exciting to be seated in a panel format amongst distinguished guests and to participate in a forum that appreciates branding for what it really stands for. I love learning from their experiences and really marvel at the brave step each entrepreneur takes as they first venture forward, taking on the world!
3) Parties/ Social Gatherings energise me!
4) Sitting at the seminar room today, the first thing i marvelled at was not the speaker (although his voice was so appropriate for the occasion), not the collateral and conference material (although that WAS excellent), but the rows upon rows of bottled water, arranged so meticulously and neatly, forming a perfect row! I think this is the event organiser in me speaking!
5) Can't wait for 24th gathering! Response has seemed positive but, girls! where ARE you all!? Wish those that have disappeared would just appear again!
6) I've learnt about marriage: that in this life, you marry the man you cannot imagine living your life without.
7) Children are really, a marvellous thing... and i'm having 'nesting' syndrome by staring at all things 'baby'.
8) Many, way too many things are EXCITING to me, and FUNKY. But, at moments of "truth" and "revelation", i am suddenly clear about distinct routes i'm gonna take in my career and life, and the things i want to pursue, or routes i can take. I sorta know what i want, just need to "path-find" my way there... slowly but surely.
9) Life is about all the special moments, the in-betweens,that really matter, in the end.
10) Never look down on anyone, even the smallest executive with the least welfare benefits and treatment can rise to become the biggest star. *
