WEEKENDS

Weekends, starting from Fri - MY absolute favourite time of the whole week.
Kopi- the reason for my daily existence
Lunch- a mere short-lived privilege and much needed respite
Dinner- 9pm mostly

Afraid that's what it's coming to! Well, it's the weekend so let's have ourselves a good time shall we?

Going to the Night Safari again tonight! Last time I went was about a year back and I loved it :)
Caught the movie "Fool's Gold" last night which was pretty good, although rather silly I must admit. Sometimes, I'm so constrained by the idea of "quality time" inclined much more to enjoy quantity time!

It seems like a time to be catching up with old friends lately, what with re-establishing contact with Mariko and Mina.. Really WISH i could have more time to spend with these guys... it's been too long!
Ahz... i suppose, we all must learn to indulge in quality time and discipline. (bleagh)

The Five Languages of Love
1. Words of Affirmation
2. Acts of Service
3. Physical Touch
4. Gifts
5. Quality Time

What is your language of love or how you best express your love for someone? Often, it may not correspond with our partners' way of expressing himself.. but learning to understand his ways is really all the more interesting and ...at times a nice, pleasant surprise :)

Highlights of the past month:
1. Chinese New Year Celebrations - I'd give you the link to the photos but i look appalling in most! Nevertheless, I had a fairly good time. It's becoming increasingly pleasant, fun and most interesting finding out exactly what my distant relatives do, what they're like.. who's related to whom... twice removed etc... and the kids! For me, it's always a joy just sitting back and observing the kids...you gotta catch them while their young, 2 years from now, they'd hardly be recognisable!

2. Valentines' Day - Yes, I was late. AGain. Neverthless, i'm deeply appreciative of your patience and undying efforts to keep me happy, preventing crabby Mich from making her re-appearance. ;p It was a lovely night's picnic and frankly, the first time i got to just sprawl out and relax. I LOVE nature, i love being outdoors, i love dancing fairy lights and i love the quiet.

3. Meeting Mariko again - Amazing. After all these.. what 8 years? Chatting online... it's incredible.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Learning each day that sometimes, all it takes to enjoy each day is to find something meaningful you do like at work. Something to turn the day around, to make key decisive steps that help to just MOVE the project forward... rather than taking tiny steps.

Crabby Mich is a truly horrendous sight to behold. Truly terrifying.

In the olden days, people offered blood sacrifices and virgin females to appease Her.
