the day started off from the stroke of midnight, 12am 7 March 2009
And i seemed to be quite steadily on a consistent high thereafter !
i think turning 25 is significant.
To me, 21 is the age you're allowed to do things but really, you were already doing lotsa that way before.. but 25! To me TWENTY FIVE was always the ultimate age, the benchmark for maturity into this wonderful lady of poise, grace, elegance and confidence.
1. Age where i can make my own decisions clearly, decisively, rapidly. I have always admired people who are totally decisive, little hesitation and merciful.
2. I can rent a car and not pay for excess insurance!
3. No need to listen to anyone's rubbish advice. I call the shots.
4. Choose my own way - of living, of leading my life, things i wanna eat, places i wanna go, traveling alone, booking hotels, reading stuff i wanna read, writing things i wanna write about, publishing, playing music i wanna listen to, performing if i so choose to, joining courses i am interested in and can finance. All about being me and daring to be me.
5. Embracing the things in life that matter to me - Music, Coffee Art, Books, Dance
6. Showing care and concern for you fellow man - Family, My Circle of Friends, Co-workers.
7. Travel - See the world in a grain of sand and Discover new things every single day from ... observing that leaf as it falls to the ground, breathing in fresh air, watching the kids in the playground play ... listening in on what the little blond girl says to her day-helper as she walks to her childcare centre everyday with me following closely behind as i walk to work. There's so much to learn and discover each and every day! Live life my dears, it's so very precious and we can all live it to the fullest in our little ways.
"I shall pass through this world but once. If therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good things I can do, let me do it now;let me not defer it or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again"
