I,_______ , do hereby solemnly vow to take you,______ to be my lawfully wedded husband/wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for better or worse, till death do us part.

I promise to cherish you and to hold you. To try and understand the source of your fluctuating moods (however often)and share in your joys (even those that others deem too small and insignificant).
I promise to be by your side despite your inability to have the air-conditioning on while you sleep,or the fan,or the window opened more than 5cm, to tolerate your impulse buys and equally impulsive insistence on joining new recreational activities. I will agree and support you in your innumerable "action-packed" forays and adventures, no matter how unbelievably strange and costly.
I will try my utmost best to tolerate your temperamental nature, perfectionist behaviour and incredible affinity with lateness.
To the best of my ability, I will try to drive you to work.. and back, time and mood dependent. In any argument or potential disagreement, I will endeavour to see things from your point of view, to look beyond and see the humour in the situation and to laugh at how silly we can be by being so obstinate.
I will laugh when you laugh (even if I may take 2 seconds later to find it funny), to hold you when you are sick and yes, even pukey although you might look a little green and smell absolutely disgusting. I promise to help you when you fall sick, to lead you when you do not feel comfortable with leading, to fill in the lapses in our conversation with comforting words, humour and wit or exchange knowing glances. I promise to try to recall the times we spent together that you cherish so dearly, even though i seriously cannot recall some of them.. but I WILL try.
