A short 2-day training brings me back to where i started when i commenced this job.
Walking the same path to work, i can already feel what it was like just going to work each morning, Motivated, Inspired and just raring to go?
Walking past the old church, the all-too-familiar kindergarten, remember walking past the iconic brand symbol, it was Christmas, a cold wintry day with a beautiful cool breeze..it was beautiful.
Hungry, like they say, hungry for my first taste of success/achieving and really contributing to a new place. Building something out of nothing.
It's gratifying.
But you know what? It's really Making a Difference in the Lives of these people i come across that makes all the Difference.
Yes, from the cheekiest ones to the most shy, seemingly quiet. You've just got to have that special touch to put yourself in their shoes, to try to understand and to really get to know one. It really takes one to know another.
Next time you feel frustrated, feel like yanking your hair out because of something or someone, this is what you do.
Take a deep breath, breathe in now Come on!
Ask yourself:
"Is there a reason behind his/her actions? Think, carefully, why did he/she do that? What is their motivation?" Does he/she even realise the consequence of their actions? Or is it unknowing/ He didn't mean any harm, just wanted to achieve the best result.. well then is it really his fault for trying?
如果出发点是好的。。。你有真么能怪她呢?
In life as in all things, it's a delicate matter and one of great influence when you learn to Let Go of certain things, put away the burden of it.
Put aside the emotion, go with the thinking.
Fight against all the negative emotions that are welling inside. Force yourself to
CALM DOWN, be rational, think logical.
Be a man.
And the natural solution will come to you.
You have to be cool and collected to work well in most situations.
Sometimes, it is difficult, do not be rash.
Deal with things with grace, skillfully and people will know how dedicated you are as long as you bother to give them due respect, speak clearly and really, just let them understand your perspective.
Impressions are built with time.
Trust is built with time.
And once you've got that trust, you hold on to it.
Bruce Springsteen "Devils and Dust" an inspiration.
