it's hard to stomach.
the people closest to you knowing you better than even you'd care to admit.
But they are ready to tell you and they still love you
and in fact, they love you despite it.
they want the best for you.

it hurts when people care.
it hurts to care.
but it teaches you.
it heals you, even the most hardened, worn of us care for someone.
and that's what makes us human

When you're faced with a tough decision.
It's the closest ones to us who can tell us we already know our decision
we're just too afraid to take it
Because that decision sometimes means leaving others behind
that decision sometimes is so emotionally demanding that it leaves us
someone incapable of rational choice
and yet, they know in our hearts, we've already made a choice.
and the right one at that.
Don't act on the fear.
